Career promotion program raising local chickens

“Food is the basis of life even during COVID. Income will be stuck. But if we can produce our own food, we will have food to eat and we can sell it and pass it on to make a profit.”

SOS Children's Villages Thailand focus on the development of surrounding communities. One of which is the career promotion project in Nong Khai Province. We donate egg chicken breeds and local chicken breeders for parents of children in the community including inviting speakers from the Nong Khai Provincial Livestock Office. Let's learn about raising chickens to strengthen and the ability to be self-reliant.

With chickens, the children can get protein-fortified eggs every day. Parents will have a food source. And a small income has resources that can be used to expand it.
